Video Pipe Inspection

Applications:

Record research:

·        Missing structures (manholes, drop inlets, clean-outs)

·        Evidence of easements (location of pipes)

 

Field conditions:

·        Structures located (i.e. manholes)  have no obvious connection (unknown sewer/drain system

·        Missing evidence of sewer lines serving building

 

Information requested by client:

·        Information often needed by the design engineer or developer (i.e. size, flow direction or condition of piping, system layout)

 

Techniques:

Mainline camera system

·        System transported on a powered tractor, which enables lengths of up to 700 (2500) feet from the entry point to be inspected.

·        A pan and tilt color camera

·        Pipe size form 6 inch to 72 inch or larger.

·        Does not maneuver bends

·        Footage counter

·        Equipped with transmitter mounted onto tractor (max. depth 50feet)

·        Up to 100W halogen lights

·        System equipped with  a VCR or DVD (jpg, mpeg)

 

 

Push Camera system

·        Fiberglass rod pushes the camera up to 250 (300) feet

·        Fixed camera head (color or b/w)

·        Pipes 1.5 inches to 10 inches in diameter.

·        Can maneuver bends (max. 2-3   90deg bends)

·        Footage counter

·        Equipped with transmitter built into camera head (max. depth 15feet)

·        Illumination via LED’s

·        System equipped with a VCR
